We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy team here at HMP Risley, a Category C male prison in Warrington.

This is a fantastic opportunity to continue your career in Pharmacy and Healthcare in an ever changing, fast paced environment, where no two days are the same! We are a close knit team of 6 in Pharmacy, and are looking for someone who is keen to learn and build on their Pharmacy experience.

Hours

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:45 - 15:45.

Salary

This is a full time role, and the salary £24,669 - £28,690 per annum - depending on experience.

Prior to joining Practice Plus Group I spent almost 10 years working in community, but I have found that the prison environment is where I feel I can utilise my skills and truly make a difference. I see patients with complex health issues, I help keep them informed about their medication and support out-patients in managing their conditions day to day.
