Consultant Ophthalmologist

You will be a UK registered medical professional, who is listed on the Specialist GMC register.  You should also be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in the operative and non-operative aspects on the management and assessment of the following areas:

•         Slit-Lamp examination
•         Gonioscopy
•         Fundoscopy
•         Tonometry
•         Refraction

You will also be required to demonstrate a high level of operative skill in the following areas:

•         High Volume Phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia
•         Eyelid surgery
•         Laser treatment
