We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Integrated Pharmacy team at HMP Leicester is a category B local prison holding men who are on remand as well as sentenced. It has an operational capacity of around 400. The prison is located in the City Centre and is a 15-minute walk from the station

Salary

This position is part time 18.75 hours, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £27,195 per annum FTE- depending on experience.

Prior to joining Practice Plus Group I spent almost 10 years working in community, but I have found that the prison environment is where I feel I can utilise my skills and truly make a difference. I see patients with complex health issues, I help keep them informed about their medication and support out-patients in managing their conditions day to day.
