Sterile Services Technicians at Practice Plus Group come from all walks of life. Many have no, or minimal, experience, but are keen to explore a career within a Hospital environment, while many already have invaluable experience.
As a Sterile Services Technician in our Southampton Hospital you’ll work as part of a team to maintain the supply of sterile instrumentation to the operating department, which is essential for the safety of patients under the organisations care. There will be plenty of learning opportunities including internal modules and while it would be an advantage if you have worked in a similar environment it is not essential. More important though is your flexibility, your knowledge of infection control, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.
As a vital member of the team, working to support our Sterile Services Department Manager, Elaine, in the provision of a safe and effective decontamination and sterile supplies service to all departments within the hospital.
We are looking for a Sterile Services Technician to join us on a bank contract allowing you to choose to work available hours that fit around your current commitments.
