Senior Sterile Services Technician

We see the appointed Senior Sterile Services Technician, coming from a very similar background, will be a strong team player and will have a good working appreciation of decontamination processes within a healthcare / surgical environment.

There is a requirement to stand while carrying out duties in all production areas; with a frequent requirement to exert a moderate to high physical effort whilst unloading and loading trolleys into the autoclaves and washer disinfectors.

You will need to be focused in your work as concentration is required all times during the decontamination and packing process.

You will be an effective communicator at all level, both written and verbal with a good degree of computer literacy.

The role requires applicants to preferably have Hepatitis B and TB vaccinations, however, practice plus group will put successful applicants through a course if there is no evidence of immunisation
