Inpatient Clinical Lead

As an Inpatient Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Liaise external stakeholders to develop pathways that prevent patients having to attend outside hospital including but not exclusively end of life care and acute care
• Line management responsibilities 
• Assist with the development of patients medical plans of care, line manage a team of healthcare practitioners ensuring that they are supported and appraised
• Promote safe patient care
• Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

• Registered nurse and a current professional qualification
• Clinical oversight to be able to develop the unit, working alongside the Head of Healthcare 
• Leadership experience / Staff Line Management 
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills and IT literacy
• Ability to work within a busy environment
• Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
