Senior Administrator

As a Senior Administrator, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Contribute to the delivery of administration services in a senior role within an office setting, providing administrative support to the healthcare team, wider Practice Plus Group organisation and the prison.
• The role will include working within a busy team, supervising admin staff, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, coordinating internal and external hospital appointments.
• Provide general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, use of clinical IT systems, Security Clearance, reporting and monitoring, formulating clinical templates.
• Provide relief cover for other administrative duties and roles as required.
• Ensure post is collected, open, sorted and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
• Co-ordinate local complaints and concerns, including logging complaints.
• Co-ordinate and respond to initial solicitor’s letters where there is a request for clinical records

• NVQ 2 Business Administration or Equivalent
• Wide ranging experience of office routines and procedures including arranging meetings/appointments
• Experienced Minute taker
• Good written & oral communication skills
• Problem solving skills
  

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
