We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our team at HMP Full Sutton. HMP Full Sutton is a busy category A and B men’s prison in the village of Full Sutton in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The site supports around 560 men aged 21+ with a range of health conditions including a high number of complex needs. Within this role you will be delivering clinical sessions, segregation rounds and providing daily acute support within the main population and specialist units .

We are looking for a General Practitioner who has a passion for working with patients who are disconnected from the healthcare service and who is keen to work as part of an established team.

Hours

Thursdays 8am-4pm

Friday 8am-4pm

Salary

This position is full time role working 16 hours per week, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £125,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

During my GP training the part which I enjoyed the most was the out-of-hours (OOH) element with Harmoni (which later became Care UK, now the Practice Plus Group). With no administrative tasks, bloods to file, documents to check, it was as close to the acute care as a GP could get. I was very well supported by Practice Plus Group during this time and was able to excel and make a mark.
