We have an exciting opportunity for a General to join our Healthcare team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B remand prison based in Hammersmith, located close to East Acton Station. Within this role you will be joining an established multidiaplinary team, where you will be involved in segregation rounds and delivering high quality healthcare services to patents with a range of needs including long term conditions, complex health and substance misuse needs. You will also be completing evening receptions with the new intake of patients.

Hours

Friday 9am-10pm 3 sessions

Saturdays 9am-10pm 3 sessions

Salary

This position is part time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £120, 000per annum FTE - depending on experience.

During my GP training the part which I enjoyed the most was the out-of-hours (OOH) element with Harmoni (which later became Care UK, now the Practice Plus Group). With no administrative tasks, bloods to file, documents to check, it was as close to the acute care as a GP could get. I was very well supported by Practice Plus Group during this time and was able to excel and make a mark.
