We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician role at HMP Lewes to join our team. HMP Lewes is a category B male prison. Lewes prison is based near the centre of the historical town of Lewes, which is just a 5 minute walk away.

This site features both a pharmacy and a dispenser, supported by a highly skilled and cohesive team of six. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to expand the team by adding 6 more technicians, creating a group of 12. The site provides excellent opportunities for L&D, as well as career advancement through ACPT training. 07.30am-17.30pm- shift patterns

Salary

This position is at a bank rate of £22.24 an hour.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

Prior to joining Practice Plus Group I spent almost 10 years working in community, but I have found that the prison environment is where I feel I can utilise my skills and truly make a difference. I see patients with complex health issues, I help keep them informed about their medication and support out-patients in managing their conditions day to day.
