Patient Engagement Lead

As an Patient Engagement Lead your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
• You’ll be responsible for the improvement and stability of patient engagement activities and patient satisfaction through effective service user engagement and peer led forums, the planning and delivery of projects/programmes in line with patients’ needs and priorities, involving patients (where possible) in project and training delivery.
• Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning etc.

• You will hold GCSE grades C/4 or above in both English and Maths with experience of working as a peer representative in a criminal justice setting (including health, housing, substance use). 
• You will be required to have face to face engagement with patients as well as group facilitation/note taking when necessary. Applications are welcome from individuals who have experienced a custodial sentence.
• Excellent communication skills
