Are you a NHS 111 Pathways Trained Clinician? Then this is a great opportunity to build on your nursing or paramedic experience – and to continue to deliver outstanding patient care – without the physical strain of acute work.

After you have successfully passed the audits then you will be able to work from home if you also agree to work 2 shifts at the call centre per month, therefore, living in a commutable distance from Ipswich would be beneficial. You will need a broadband connection (Fibre) and a landline that can be utilised for working at home.

As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group is delivering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that reduces pressures on services and staff. By bringing together NHS 111 call centres, clinical assessment and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it. It’s better for everyone.

You can join the team full or part-time on a variety of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle. These range from 16–38.5 hours per week and operate on a 2-8 week rotating rota that includes daytime, evenings, nights and weekend working.

What you will need:

• Registration as a nurse or mental health nurse (NMC) or paramedic (HCPC) with appropriate post-registration experience.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, with good IT and keyboard skills.
• A real passion for providing outstanding patient care, with a commitment to making the most of continuous learning within a well-structured, well-supported team.
• NHS Pathways licence

• Pay: £21.32 per hour (7am-11pm) and £24.24 per hour (11pm-7am), with further pay enhancements for some of our busier shifts.
• 25 days’ annual leave, increasing with service up to 28 days per year + bank holidays.
