Looking for a different way to make the most of your post-registration experience and potential? Moving into our 111 call centre environment in Southall, London could provide an improved work/life balance and a better chance to do your best work.
As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group is delivering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that reduces pressures on services and staff. By bringing together NHS 111 call centres, clinical assessment and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it. It’s better for everyone.
This is an opportunity to build on your nursing, paramedic or pharmacy experience – and to continue to deliver outstanding patient care – without the physical strain of acute work. As a Clinical Advisor supporting our 111 call centre operations, you’ll be a key part of a multidisciplinary team providing high quality, evidence-based healthcare.
Extensive, paid training is offered in the use of the Pathways system. You can choose from two training options: full-time Monday-Friday(9am-5pm) for six weeks; or part-time Tues, Weds, Thurs (6pm-9.30pm) and Sat-Sun (9am-5pm) for nine weeks. You must attend every training day. This is followed by a further eight weeks’ support before you are signed off to work on your own. Prior to starting training, we’ll provide you with a workbook to review and complete – this may seem a little daunting but it will show you what to expect.
