We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Healthcare to join the team at HMP Leicester, a Category B prison located in Leicester city centre. HMP Leicester is a male prison, with operational capacity of around 350. This is a local remand prison, and therefore has a high turnover of inmates and patients.
This is a unique opportunity to manage the healthcare department by leading on, and maintaining the service as agreed with NHS England. You will become part of the senior leadership team within the prison, ensuring that the healthcare division is fully embedded within the prison.
Face to face interviews will be held on 26 July.
Hours:
Monday - Friday between 09:00 - 17:30 (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility on start and finish times, as well as on call responsibilities.
Salary:
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £60,000 per annum - depending on experience, plus car allowance and bonus.
