About The Role

Are you a Quality Governance specialist looking for your next challenge? 

Practice Plus Group are looking for a Regional Quality Governance Manager to lead the development and implementation of our Quality Governance strategy. Alongside this you will be developing systems of work to influence measure and evidence continuous quality improvement and assurance, working in partnership with a board of internal and external Health Care partners. 

You will lead Quality Governance activities across your assigned region and throughout the patient journey, as well as supporting the implementation of the NHS England Patient Safety Strategy. You will also be managing local programmes, organising quality governance activities, providing subject matter expertise to investigations and identifying opportunities for organisational learning and Quality Improvement. 

If successful you will lead and co-ordinate a number of key areas that will contribute significantly to ensuring Practice Plus Groups services are safe, effective and patient centred. 

This role will be working with in our newly furbished Exeter office. This 37.5 hours a week mainly working across Monday-Friday but may include occasional work outside of these times as and when needed. 

About You

Skills Required

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction 
• A fully supportive and integrated team player contributing to effective performance in achieving strategic, national and local Quality Governance objectives. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to allocate, manage and prioritise workload to ensure national and organisational guidelines are met and that deadlines are adhered to 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate an all-round professional attitude especially under pressure with deadlines and conflicting interests
 • Ability to manage highly sensitive issues and information always maintaining confidentiality.
 

Qualifications & Experience 

Qualifications:

• First degree or equivalent extensive professional knowledge of Quality Governance or Quality control and assurance 
• Knowledge of health services or delivery of health care 
• Further study in the specialist field of Quality Governance evidenced by post graduate qualification, demonstrable self-study or relevant professional courses 

Experience: 

• Demonstrable Experience in two or more of the following areas:
Data Management Systems
Data management and Analysis
Quality Audit
Risk Management
Quality Effectiveness
Research and Development experience
Standards Review/development
•       Experience of NHS England, Primary Care services 
•       Experience in leading external visits/accreditation by external agencies
