What We are looking for:
 
Here at Practice Plus a new opportunity has arisen for a Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our fantastic team at Brighton on a Permanent basis. You will be joining an existing team in Brighton to help with our continued growth and increased patients.

This role will be working across both general practice and the walk in centre and you will play an integral role in delivering a high quality service to our patients in a busy, fast paced and rewarding environment.
 
About the Job
 
You will provide clinical and professional leadership to all nursing staff including the Health Care Assistants and to work part of the services multidisciplinary team to ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the patients

You will be required to work in partnership with other health care professionals and PCN practices ensuring the clinical team works cohesively and effectively to deliver a high standard of patient care. This will involve leading by example, facilitating professional and clinical development.
 
Practice Plus Group services are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and as such the Lead Nurse will play an active part to ensure the readiness of the service for a CQC inspection. 

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- 1st level Registered Nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Post registration qualification in First contact care an Chronic Disease management
- Independent Nurse Prescriber
- Evidence of Continuous Professional development (CPD).
- Experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience of performance management of clinical staff members.
- Experience of working autonomously.
 
What we'll need from you
- Be an autonomous Nurse Practitioner with a patient assessment qualification and recent work experience within a Primary/Urgent Care environment
- Hold an independent prescribing qualification
- Hold an NMC Pin
- Experience in management long term conditions
