This is your chance to train to be a Health Advisor in our 111 contact centre, handling calls from members of the public. You’ll learn how to use a state-of-the-art triage tool called NHS Pathways to assess patients over the phone and direct them to the most appropriate care. Although these are not emergency calls, you’ll also need to be prepared to deal with emotional, distressing or life-threatening scenarios and to arrange for 999 services if required.

We offer enhanced pay rates for weekends, and are offering part-time weekend and evening contracts from 16 - 33.5 hours per week to cover our core shifts and assist patients when they need us most.
 
Please note: If you are seeking a full time contract with us, we may be able to accommodate you if you are happy to work more weekend hours (this may mean working every weekend and taking days off during the week). 
 
NHS Pathway Training:
 
We offer Pathway and adastra training, presented in a class room over full-time programme that runs over a four week period (9:00am-5:00pm) or part-time over a 6.5 week period Sat & Sun (9am-5pm) including Tues, Weds, Thurs (5pm-9.30pm). This extensive training equips you with valuable skills and includes assessments. This is paid at the rate of £11.48 per hour. Attending every training day is essential. This is followed by a further eight weeks’ support before you are signed off as a fully accredited/licensed Pathways Health Advisor. 
 
Our next Training Dates are:
  •  Saturday 4th May - Part Time
  • Monday 7th May training dates – Full Time
Shifts and Rates of Pay:
  • £11.48 per hour– daytime and during training
  • £14.27 per hour – Enhanced contractual night rate (23:00-0700)
  • £14.77 per hour – Enhanced red zone weekend contractual night rate (23:00-0700) subject to T&C when working more than 26 hours per week.
