About The Role

Job Summary

Practice Plus Group, the UK’s largest independent provider of NHS services, are seeking someone with strong customer service skills who is highly computer / IT literate to join us as a Finance Systems Analyst. You could be a graduate, have a few years work experience or have more experience and are seeking a new challenge, what’s most important to us it that you’re driven with an ambition and aptitude to learn.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to work as part of a small but busy team offering support and guidance to users on a range of financial systems issues. We are looking for someone who understands excellent customer service and can communicate confidently and clearly to a wide range of users. No prior knowledge of financial systems or IT support is required, only a logical approach to problem solving; an aptitude for IT and excellent Microsoft Office skills; and being eager to learn.

Based in the Finance team but working closely with the IT service desk and external support partners, the role will involve triaging and managing support calls; routine maintenance and administration of finance systems; and assisting in requirements gathering, documentation, testing and change control for system updates and new functionality.

About You

The role offers the opportunity to develop systems experience with Unit4 ERP and the Vena FP&A platform plus gain a good understanding of financial systems, processes and reporting with the possibility of being supported to obtain relevant qualifications.
 
We are flexible with the location of the candidate but they must be able to travel to Reading on occasion. This role is a full time, permanent role paying up to £29,000 per annum.
