Are you an experienced HCPC registered Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist looking for a new or additional role with career development opportunities? Have you ever thought about working within a prison environment, helping to rehabilitate and support offenders to live decent and purposeful lives as a member of the community?
If you are looking for a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day, then this is the place to be. We believe in a good work life balance so there is no on call or weekend work.
We have various sessions across the following prisons, so if you’re only able to cover some sessions that’s great or even all of them we would love to hear from you:
HMP Dovegate, Uttoxeter, working 32 hours, made up of 8 x4 sessions per month
HMP Drakehall, Eccleshall, working 12 hours, made up of 3 x 4 sessions per month
HMP Stafford, Stafford, working 12 hours, made up of 3 x 4 sessions per month
HMP Werrington, Werrington, working 6 hours, made up of 1.5 x 4 sessions per month
HMP Swinfen Hall, Lichfield, working 12 hours, made up of 3 x 4 sessions per month
You will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies with some complex and/or chronic presentations. You will need to demonstrate advanced MSK diagnostic and treatment skills, be able to work within the MDT and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
