Working as a Health Care Assistant at Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology, North West, you’ll provide support to the nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a high standard of care to patients in a safe and caring environment. This will involve working with our Ophthalmic Nurses in outpatients and theatre. Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding.

NB: This role is a FTC to cover maternity leave starting 22/5/23 for 30hrs per week

About You

You will have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and be willing to undertake training to gain further clinical skills. Recent experience working as a Health Care Assistant in an acute setting would be advantageous but not essential. Your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload however are just as important.
