About The Role

As a Substance Misuse Support Worker, your responsibilities will vary. You will be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, treatment and the evaluation of patients’ care. You will support prescribing by taking various physical observations, including ECG’s and blood samples, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks and you will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinics. You will support service in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care and to be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

About You

To apply for this position you should have NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent experience in Health and Social Care. We are ideally looking for someone who has experience of working in a Support Worker role or similar.

This is a part time role working 20 hours per week.
