About Us

Prisons are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work. If you are looking for a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day in an environment that never stands still, then this is it.

Practice Plus Group is a specialist provider of NHS services into prison healthcare. From October 2022, we will be the recognised provider of 52 different prisons, young offenders and immigration removal centres. We believe in putting the patient first, regardless of the environment or their history. HMP Eastwood Park is a women's closed prison, located in the village of Falfield in South Gloucestershire with a maximum of 442 adult women. HMP Eastwood Park is based 17 miles north of Bristol, 20 miles south of Gloucester, 30 miles west from Cirencester and 30 miles east from Newport in South Wales with good transport links via the M5 and the A38 and ample free staff parking.

Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract at HMP Eastwood Park and will begin delivering services in October 2022.
