You will be responsible for managing a case load of patients with varying diagnosis and/or highly complex needs using evidence based and/or patient centred principles. You will be working closely with the Clinical Director to support a team of physiotherapists and AHPs, including supporting and coordinating clinical education within the service. We will look to you as a source of expertise in the management of the service by providing advice to patients and other healthcare professionals, GP’s and Consultants. You will be also expected to split your role with FCP work in local GP surgeries.
You will be a dedicated Physiotherapist with a valid HCPC pin number and an injection qualification. As an organisation dedicated to supporting your development, we would like you to have completed or be working towards an MSc in Physiotherapy. You will also have recognised postgraduate orthopaedic musculoskeletal training and previous triage and clinical supervision experience would be beneficial.
We are based in 8 modern treatment facilities, with high quality equipment, throughout Buckinghamshire. You will be based mainly at our sites in High Wycombe or Aylesbury, however, may be expected to travel to our other sites from time to time and in the GP surgeries for your FCP role. As you will be travelling between our sites you will need a full UK driver’s license and access to your own vehicle. There is no on-call or compulsory weekend work to allow for a strong work life balance.
