About The Role

Have you thought about working within prison healthcare?

Prisons are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work - if you’re looking for a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day in an environment that never stands still, then this is it!

As the Inpatient Clinical Lead and a member of the wider management team, you will be responsible for providing the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the mental health team across an integrated healthcare service, contributing to the strategic direction of the service. You will support your team to carry out comprehensive assessments, confidently communicating treatment options, and initiating supportive care plans, working with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team.

About You

As an Inpatient Clinical Lead, you’ll be an integral part of the healthcare team by bringing your top-notch skills, passion for care, and leadership to the role. You will model a culture of compassion, courage, and competence. The role will include providing challenge, support, and mentorship at the point of delivery, drawing the best from our staff, and improving the quality of care for our services.

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £47,025 per annum - depending on experience. We offer a whole host of additional benefits such as: cycle to work scheme, free DBS check, free uniform, an extensive training and development structure for all employees along with an employee recognition scheme.

It doesn’t stop there…we also offer a company pension scheme, 25 days annual leave increasing with service, plus 8 public bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time), NHS blue light card, discounted Costco memberships, free eye tests for computer screen users and an 24/7 employee assistance helpline.
