Have you ever wanted to play your part in an exciting service that really makes a difference to everyone’s lives? As a key member of our 111 team in Stockley Park, Uxbridge you’ll be doing just that.
Our new offices in Stockley Park have a café on the site, and there are also lots of options within the business park for lunches! If you are travelling using public transport, we are a 25 minute walk away from Hayes & Hillingdon tube station or a 10 minute bus journey away, and if you are driving we also have plenty of parking available on site too!
This is your chance to be a Health Advisor in our contact centre, handling calls from members of the public. You’ll learn how to use a state-of-the-art triage tool called NHS Pathways to assess patients over the phone and direct them to the most appropriate care. You’ll also need to be prepared to deal with emotional, distressing or life-threatening scenarios.
The extensive training equips you with valuable skills and includes assessments.
Full-time - Monday to Friday (9am-5pm) for four weeks;
Part-time - Tues, Weds, Thurs (6pm-10pm) and Sat-Sun (9am-5pm) for five weeks.
You must attend every training day. Which is followed by a further eight weeks’ support before you are signed off to work on your own.
PLEASE NOTE - there are assessments and call audits to pass during and after your training before you commence your role.
Once your training has been completed, we can offer contracts of employment ranging from as little as 16 hours per week part-time, right through to 38.5 hours per week full-time. We have a variety of shift patterns to choose from however you should expect to work weekends, evenings, nights and public holidays as this service operates 24hours a day, 365 days a year.
Upcoming Training Dates:
13th January - Part Time Course
15th January - Full Time Course
