Our South Central Health in justice region consists of five sites, all very unique in terms of function as well as geographically.
We currently have vacancies for Bank Nurses at:
Gatwick IRC, an immigration removal centre located at Gatwick airport, Surrey, supporting individuals who await deportation, as well as small number of short term residents newly arrived in the UK.
HMP Isle of Wight, a category B training prison for men
HMP Lewes, a Category B remand prison in Lewes, near to Brighton, and
HMP Winchester, also a category B remand prison located in Winchester, Hampshire.

Working as a Bank Registered Nurse offers you flexibility and workplace variety. You would also be assisting the wider permanent team, covering for planned and unplanned absences.

As a Registered Nurse you’ll be an integral part of the healthcare team by bringing you clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency.
