About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Practitioner to joinour team in a modern, clean and comfortable Hospital to carry out patient COVID- 19 swabbing. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patient’s treatment is of the highest standard.

Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.

You will be working with a HCA as part of a small COVID-19 swabbing team.

You will receive training and only allowed to practice once competencies in COVID-19 swabbing have been achieved and signed off.

Working at weekends 07:30-12 noon Saturday and Sunday (on a rolling basis) you’ll be responsible for carrying out the COVID-19 swabbing for patients waiting for surgery. Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding.

Having already achieved a recognized Assistant Practitioner Qualification, there will be plenty of further learning opportunities including internal and external training modules. It would be an advantage if you have worked in acute healthcare environment. More important though is your flexibility, your knowledge of infection control, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.
