About The Role

Make a difference from day one!

We are looking for a General Practitioner to work as part of a friendly health care team providing care for 750 male prisoners across 2 sites which are closely linked geographically in the picturesque surroundings of rural coastal Suffolk. We can offer you a manageable workload with 15-minute appointments to enable you to give holistic care, and your working day will be 8-4 Monday to Friday.  For the right candidates we can be flexible in order to achieve the right work-life balance. There are opportunities for remote working and paid CPD time as well as 25 days of paid annual leave, plus bank holidays!

We offer an annual salary of up to £125, 400 per annum (pro rata for part time applications) plus payment of MDU/MPS subscription and CPD days. This is a full time role working 10 sessions a week but we are also happy to consider part time or applicants on a sessional basis.

About You

We have a wide range of company benefits also, including a company contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave rising to 28 days with service plus 8 public bank holidays (pro rata for part time applications), access to shopping discounts and the NHS blue light card, financial assistance when you need it, access to discounted memberships such as Costco and a cycle to work scheme.
