A Sterile Services Assistant is an integral part of the team responsible for cleaning, decontaminating and sterilising medical equipment.
You will work to support our Sterile Services Department Manager, in the provision of a safe and effective decontamination and sterile supplies service to all departments within the hospital.
This will include ensuring that every medical device is prepared fit for the purpose prior to patient use and undertaking tasks involved with the decontamination process i.e. cleaning, checking, packing, assembling, sterilising and distribution of medical devices.
This role will be working 37.5 hours a week over - With shifts being 7.30am - 3.30pm and 10:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 2 in 4 Saturday shifts as a one on one off basis.
