Director of Nursing and Quality

As a Director of Nursing and Quality, you will:

• Provide professional and clinical leadership and development to the nursing and allied health professional (AHP) workforce across Health in Justice.
• Work with the National Health in Justice team to help ensure Health in Justice has a nursing workforce and skill mix that reflects national standards and meets Practice Plus Group’s needs for innovation.
• Lead quality and high standards of quality governance throughout Health in Justice Service line, ensuring full compliance with internal and external expectations for service delivery.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the Health in Justice Quality Assurance Framework and of the Continuous Quality Review process.

Qualifications required:

• Registered Nurse Level 1 with extensive experience in a senior nursing role.
• Attendance of a management training programme.
• Training to level 4 in the safeguarding of vulnerable people.
• Significant experience of working in a Senior Clinical role.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a management position with line and budgetary responsibility for teams.
• Experience of leading and implementing workforce review /redesign.
