About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and confident Interim Day Ward Manager to lead a high-flow Day Surgery Unit within an NHS provider organisation. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for delivering safe, effective and compassionate care across multiple specialties, including Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedics and Endoscopy. You’ll provide visible clinical leadership, oversee patient flow and bed management, and ensure consistent, high-quality care for all patients – NHS-funded and self-pay alike.

Hours dependent on working clinically to support the teams.
Department open from 0730 to 1730, Mon-Friday with nominated late staff including the Interim Ward manager. Hours flexible depending on clinical need to complete over 4 days or 5 days.
