Sexual Health Lead Nurse

As a Sexual Health Lead Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Lead on promotion, assessment, and co-ordinating treatment for patients in all aspects of sexual health
• Ensure effective and consistent recognition of STI’s, symptomatic and asymptomatic screening, taking samples and managing laboratory pathways.
• Co-ordinate all clinical activity in relation to sexual health and where applicable contraception, conduct STI screening.

Qualifications required

• Registered Adult Nurse with current registration with NMC
• Demonstrate a passion for working in sexual health services
• Evidence of post registration CPD
• Able to work autonomously as a registered professional by on-going assessment, planning, management and evaluation of care following best practice guidance

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
