An exciting new opportunity has arose within Practice Plus Group’s Primary Care services across our West Midlands and Gloucestershire Out Of Hours services, inducing - (Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire). We are looking for a Service Development and Improvement Manager Manager to support the development and implementation of IUC service changes, including new contracts, innovations, pilots and improvements to existing services; ensuring changes are evidenced, documented and approved.
About the Role
You will work with the Regional Manager and local Management Team to support change and innovation, in line with IUC (Integrated Urgent Care) strategy by providing expertise to colleagues and commissioners in designing new or revised patient journeys, ensuring the appropriate operational and clinical approvals are in place
You will Model and / or map new services to demonstrate expected impact and effectiveness of change whilst reviewing the local service specifications and research local health systems, to assist the development of solutions that will deliver local and national objectives. Also, you will be required to arrange and support internal and external service design and implementation meetings / workshops. Whilst managing all of the above, you will be expected to represent Practice Plus Group at agreed meetings with Commissioners, Clients and business partners, supporting or deputising for the Regional Manager or Service Managers when needed.
Supporting implementation:
You will support the implementation of service changes within a defined framework that includes PIDs, project plans, risk registers, action logs and related documents as appropriate, whilst providing project support, undertaking the necessary administration activities required to support projects, including and not limited to, making notes/minutes of meetings, raising purchase orders, booking meetings and venues. Another main duty will be to provide project leadership and monitor and manage interdependencies between work-streams, particularly where the interdependency contributes to the critical path/milestones of the project.
This is a permanent, full time role of 37.5 hours a week and can offer a salary up to £40,000 Per Annum.
