We are looking for an experienced Surgical First Assistant to join our team. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager, Trevor. There is no night working, no Sunday’s, no bank holidays and there is no on-call! You can have more time to do the things you love doing. You will work 37.5 hours over 4 days.
You will be a Registered Nurse or Registered Operating Department Practitioner Surgical First Assistant Qualification and have proven experience of working in a theatre as a scrub practitioner. As well as being up to date with current research, key issues and developments in theatre practice you will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department.
