By bringing together NHS 111 call centres, clinical assessment and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it. It’s better for everyone.
You will also liaise with patients and monitor the dispatch queue, as well as book Primary Care Centre (PCC) appointments where appropriate.
Accurately record information and refer to the appropriate health professional in a timely manner and assist in the monitoring and reporting on service performance and escalating when needed.
Shifts for this role are Friday evenings and Weekends.
Responsibilities
• Handle in/outbound calls promptly and efficiently, dealing with patients in an empathetic and considerate manner.
• Assist the clinical Navigator & co-ordinator at peak times in achieving performance levels.
• Attend quarterly staff meetings and training sessions.
• Keep abreast of changes in services and products.
• General administrative duties including faxing etc.
• Monitor the active case queue to ensure all calls have the correct information and are visible to the correct region.
