We are looking for a Diagnostic Imaging Manager.

Supported by our experienced Head of Nursing and Clinical Services, Catherine, and our Practice Plus Group Diagnostic Imaging Lead, Fiona, you will be responsible for managing the radiology department. This will include ensuring the provision of a high quality, safe and cost effective service. You will take responsibility for clinical and professional standards, staffing and governance as well as developing relationships with neighbouring acute NHS trusts and CCG’s.

About You

As an experienced HCPC registered Radiographer coming from the NHS or a private hospital, you will have experience of working in a supervisory or lead role. You will bring with you a broad knowledge of techniques for all radiological modalities including x-ray, theatre radiography and MRI. You will also have experience of analysing x-ray images and be able to recognise abnormalities.

Your leadership and clinical skills will help you to provide support and encourage all staff working in the radiology department. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge.

*This bonus is offered to those who commence substantive employment within a Practice Plus Group secondary care location between 1st October 2022 and 28th February 2023 in a role wholly or mainly dedicated to the hands on delivery of patient care requiring registration with either the NMC or HCPC, and sonographers. The bonus is paid in two parts, £500 at the end of your first month of employment and £1500 after 6 months of employment conditional on successful completion of a probation period.  The total bonus is pro-rata for part time joiners.
