What will you be doing?
As part of this role, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patient’s requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. You will also provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities. You will be pivotal in engaging the clinical workforce to support the delivery of the organisation’s objectives, and will have the chance to further develop your clinical and medical skills.

HM Prison Stafford is a closed training prison which holds 751 category C people convicted of sexual offences. The prison has the original Victorian buildings for the majority of the residential wings. Modern buildings include Reception, Visits, Education, Kitchen, a 40 bed house block, Sports Hall and with a site adjacent to the prison was as an industrial workshop complex. 50% of our patients are over the age of 55 which leads healthcare services to have an emphasis on chronic disease management, frailty, complex case management, cancer care, palliative care and care of the dying.
