The Information Analyst will work in an Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) environment covering 111, Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) and Out of Hours (OOH). The post holder will collate, develop, analyse and produce timely reports and work with senior managers, colleagues, commissioners and other stakeholders.
Reporting to the MI Manager, the post holder will work as part of a team of Information Analysts including other internal teams e.g. Business Systems, Workforce Planning and Real Time Analysts to fulfil their duties and continuously monitor data and quality assurance. They will assist in the development of management information and reporting systems that support managers in the delivery of operational services.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
To support and contribute to the collection, processing, analysing, submission and reporting of data arising from the IUC and business systems.
To prepare routine and ad-hoc reports daily, weekly, monthly and any analysis as required by Service and Operational Managers, Directors, Commissioners (CCG), NHS England, colleagues and wider organisation partners.
To accurately provide, maintain and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), trends and to investigate any inconsistent results to understand the underlying reasons.
To maintain data quality, assurance and maintain up to date documentation on all workflows and processes within the role.
To support and contribute in the development of automated tools and dashboards that support the reporting needs of the IUC through use of tools such as Excel, Power query and Power BI.
Ensure that the Service and Operational Managers can make appropriate management decisions and measure operational effectiveness of all aspects of their service by providing informed, robust and timely data.
