About The Role

Practice Plus Group are looking for an experienced Senior HR Administrator to join their Central HR team. This role reports to the HRBP - Operations role and is designed to supervise the HR Operations team and provide a senior level of support across the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service line.

You will be required to line manage a team of 6 HR Administrators and work closely with the HRBP - Operations assisting with reporting, projects, TUPE and other ad hoc work.  Your daily responsibilities will include supervising the Integrated Urgent Care HR Operations team as well as regularly performing full employee lifecycle tasks for Central Services and other allocated site locations. You will also work closely with other integral departments such as Payroll, Pensions and our HRIS team and be comfortable liaising with members of the Executive team.

Additional Information:

This role is offered on a full time permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.  We currently operate a hybrid working arrangement, working 1 – 2 days a week from our Reading office and the remainder from home.

Our office offers free onsite parking and is within a 10-15 minute walk from Reading Train Station.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) team and assist with daily queries/approvals, organise regular team meetings and conduct monthly 1-1 meetings and annual appraisals. You will also need to support with full employee lifecycle tasks for allocated sites, ensuring that Practice Plus Group meets its regulatory responsibilities with regard to pre-employment vetting and complies with the Data Protection Act. This includes offers, contracts, pre- employment checks, payroll, maintenance of system records, audits etc.

You will also assist with TUPE mobilisations, delivery of organisational change initiatives (e.g. system changes, changes to benefits etc.), ad hoc project work and provide support to the overall HR function as directed by the HRBP – Operations.

About You

We are looking for a solution-orientated team player, who is enthusiastic and has a proactive 'can do' attitude. The right candidate will have previous administration focused HR experience, excellent verbal & written communication skills and exceptional organisational skills with sound ability to prioritise workload when working with challenging deadlines. The right candidate will have previous experience of supervising or line managing others and experience in using HRIS and ATS systems.

  

Having previous knowledge or Healthcare and its terminology will also be advantageous but not essential.
