About The Role

If you're a business developer looking for a new challenge, then this may be the job for you!
 
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join us on a permanent basis, primarily working from home.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into well-engineered, tested and deployed solutions. You will be in conversation with internal customers to determine the most effective and efficient approach to meet the businesses application, reporting and information requirements.
 
You will be providing support to not only enhance the capabilities across the company, but also in developing the team in their skills, so that they can always deliver an effecting service. You will assure a quality service through relevant tools and procedures, monitoring this progress in QA meetings as well as revising and creating documents. Overall, you will be a leader to those within the team, and likewise will be shaping processes so information solutions can be streamlined, simplified and improved across the organisation as a whole.

About You

You will be knowledgeable about business improvement initiatives, and feel confident in dealing with business users to understand their information and process requirements. This includes being familiar with delivering technical BI solutions using the Microsoft stack (including SSRS and SSIS), as well as tools such as Cognos or Business Objects.
 
Your role will involve coaching others to assist with their development and mentoring business users so that they get the best from business intelligence. As such, y
ou will pride yourself on being a good communicator to both customers, peers and higher level staff alike, both in written form and verbally. 
 
You will have excellent analytical skills and consider yourself a problem solver, being able to work under pressure in an ambitious environment.
 
This role will require travel to other sites, so you would need to have use of a car or reliable transport options.
