About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner or Consultant Physiotherapist to join our team at Practice Plus Group, MSK Buckinghamshire as our new Clinical MSK Lead / Clinical Director. 
 
You will provide clinical leadership and co-ordination of the service as well as expert advice, guidance and support.  As our Consultant or Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in the service you will undertake advanced assessment, diagnosis and management for an independent caseload of patients, including those presenting with highly complex conditions.
 
You will take the service lead on the development of training, education and research, service evaluation and audit, as well as contribution to national policy.  You will be responsible for managing the supervision, training and appraisal of all grades of physiotherapy and medical staff. This includes the clinical supervision of our FCPs and the accreditation process with HEE. 

About You


You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience in supporting education and development of staff. You will act as a role model within the MSK services demonstrating a high level of integrity and working closely with other MSK providers in the patient pathway, including the local acute Trust and primary care colleagues. Your role will be focused on driving the development and delivery of high quality, patient centred clinical pathways.

You will be supported by our Service Manager and Regional Medical Director (Orthopaedic Consultant) and you will represent the service at our national secondary care meetings with Hospital Directors/Clinical Directors/Medical Directors.

You will need to be committed and hard-working; be a good communicator and a team player with excellent time management.
