About The Role

Are you an experienced Receptionist with a customer focused approach? Then we could have just the role for you. We have an exciting opportunity to join our professional and welcoming team working on a part time basis for 30 hours per week. 

Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet has been rated Outstanding by the CQC*, putting it at the very top of the regulator’s quality ratings.

As a valued member of the administration team, you will provide a comprehensive administration and receptionist service to the unit, ensuring that all patients are treated in a professional and courteous manner, endorsing the patient centred approach of the team. Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding. 

About You

With previous experience of working in a reception role and dealing with customers in person and by telephone, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to stay calm in difficult circumstances. Just as important though is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.
