If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding social care assistant role and want to develop your clinical care package skills in an environment where no two days are the same then this could be the new job for you!

To contribute and support delivery of primary care within a secure environment, by providing nursing care, implement clinical care packages, while working unsupervised.

This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week across 7 days a week on a rotational basis including weekends and Bank holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a social care assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will be involved in the implementation of clinical social care packages, treatment and the evaluation of patients’ care. You will support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks and you will be encouraged to take the lead on wellbeing promotion clinics.

What do we need from you?

We are on the lookout for Social Care Assistants who have experience of working within a Primary Care setting such as a residential care home, GP surgery or hospital. You’ll hold an NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care and must have a willingness to undertake training in Mental Health Awareness, suicide prevention, self-harm and ACCT procedures as well as Health Promotion and screening.
