As an RGN/RMN 1 with valid NMC registration and preferably RCGP 1-2 in Substance Misuse, you’ll have experience of working with substance misusers, with the ability to work autonomously; with sound clinical/substance misuse knowledge. We’ll want to see evidence of your continued professional development, and a real passion for taking your skills even further.
It goes without saying that you’ll have a solid understanding of health and safety, along with exemplary record keeping skills. Self-motivated, you’ll show plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations. Beyond that, you should have a flexible approach and the ability to achieve changing priorities.
HMP Leeds is s category B men’s prison based in Leeds, Yorkshire. The Leeds team adopts an inclusive, compassionate and punctilious attitude towards each other and their patients. Leeds is an unpredictable, fast paced environment where care is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Progression and development is encouraged and supported, this can be discussed in one of your regular supervisions with your line manager or clinical supervisor.
There is access to free parking in a secure car park and it is easily accessible from the motorway.
Our team is built of primary care, mental health, substance misuse and pharmacy who are supported by our clerical team and over seen by the head and deputy head of healthcare.

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. The salary for this role is up to £34,670 per annum depending on experience
