As a Pharmacy Checker, you will be responsible for the second checking of all controlled drugs under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Technician. The role will involve making accurate entries into controlled drug registers. You'll be required to support and provide a timely and efficient pharmaceutical service to the prison wings.
As an integral member of the Pharmacy Team, you'll contribute to the development of and support implementation of medicine management strategy and associated services and projects You may be required to take on a role of working across multiple Pharmacy Services if and when required.
HMP Lindholme is a Category C/D men's prison located near Hatfield Woodhouse in Doncaster and is a former RAF base offering a large open site. They have a hardworking, supportive and friendly team that encourage career progression and further education opportunities. The team consists of primary care, mental health, substance misuse, pharmacy and administration services who all work closely together to provide a holistic approach to patient care. Shift patterns typically run between 07.30 and 19.30. The site offer free onsite parking, free access to an onsite gym and onsite staff diner.
