About The Role

I learn something new every day…

Are you collaborative, caring, and compassionate?
Prisons are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work - if you’re looking for a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day, then this is the place to be.
To ensure the continued quality of care at HMP Winchester we’re looking for an Administrator to support the team.

You'll be carrying out general administrative duties within the healthcare department of the prison. Working within set routines, policies, and procedures to provide a comprehensive high-quality service to the unit, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and staff enquiries.

It’s this variety that keeps things fresh and stimulating. Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences but you’ll have all the support you need to deliver the best practice possible from both the healthcare team and the prison team. You'll need to be confident in a prison setting as the office will be based in Healthcare, off a prison wing.

In return for your hard work you will...

Receive a salary of up to £21,000 - dependent on experience. You'll also get a number of benefits including a company contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus 8 public bank holidays plus cycle to work scheme, training and development opportunities.
