About The Role

We are looking for a Reception and Patient Flow Supervisor to join our team at our CQC “outstanding”* rated hospital in Shepton Mallet. This is a full time role with shifts between 6am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday.

Supported by our experienced Administration Manager, Rachel, you will supervise, support and coordinate all ground floor reception teams to provide a professional, customer/patient focused service. This will include leading daily briefing sessions, taking responsibility for reporting, and managing patient flow through the department. You will also meet and greet all arrivals at the hospital, endorsing our patient/customer focused approach.

About You

With experience in a supervisory role in the public service or health sector and a qualification in customer services, you will have superb communication and interpersonal skills alongside a friendly and welcoming manner. Key to this role is your motivation to provide a high standard of service, your ability to deal with difficult situations calmly and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
