About The Role

Are you an experienced Administrator with exemplary customer service skills? Then we could have just the role for you. We are looking for a Private Patient Coordinator to join our team.

At Portsmouth hospital we create an exceptional experience for all NHS and Private Patients, with a dedication to delivering the highest standards of quality and safety. We treat patients quickly and support their recovery, helping them to feel better, faster.

Our clean, modern and comfortable hospital in Portsmouth specialises in planned surgery for NHS, private and insured patients. Our services cover a wide range of treatments including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT and more.

You will be a vital member of the Portsmouth team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the various administrative, functional and site specific work streams associated with private patient services. You will act as the single point of contact for all private patients and take responsibility for managing all private patients’ pathways once booked by the call centre.

With a strong administration background and experience of working within a healthcare or patient facing environment, you will also have excellent communication and IT skills. Also key in this role will be your ability to problem solve and influence, alongside your conflict resolution skills.
