About The Role

Do you put your patients at the heart of everything you do and constantly strive to do things better? Due to expansion we are currently looking for theatre scrub nurses or operating department practitioners to join our team on a part time basis, working 28.5 hours a week across 3 shifts between Monday and Sunday and be willing to participate in the on call rota.

About You

As an HCPC registered operating department practitioner or an NMC registered nurse with previous experience in orthopaedics you will also be up to date with current research and developments in theatre practise. In addition, you will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department and will be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment. 

It goes without saying privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team and you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for “total patient” care in the perioperative phase.
