We are looking for an experienced GP to join the talented healthcare team at HMP Brixton to provide clinical oversight across a challenging, yet demanding patient group. This is an amazing opportunity to lead a truly integrated team who will deliver outstanding patient care. As the GP, you’ll support the Head of Healthcare in shaping the policies and strategies for developing and modernising clinical practice in order to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate healthcare services for our patients.

What will you be doing?
The GP would be supported by a fantastic team of nurses, HCA’s and Nurse practitioners including the advantage of a Respiratory Nurse specialist; you can be sure that your career at HMP Bure will be a fulfilling one, working with such a vast team of multidisciplinary professionals. As part of this role, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patient’s requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. You will also provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities. You will be pivotal in engaging the clinical workforce to support the delivery of the organisation’s objectives, and will have the chance to further develop your clinical and medical skills.
